Sides
Sides Seelctions
Who doesn't love great sides? Here are some of my favorites!
Marinated Asparagus
Steamed asparagus marinated in a zesty dressing.
Mexican Rice
Great Mexican side dish made with long-grain rice, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, garlic, and seasoned broth. I throw a few petit green peas in for color!
Black Beans
You have either a love or hate relationship with beans. . . but wait until you taste these black beans. You will love them. Tender beans simmered in a spiced sauce with onions and garlic. Great served over Mexican Rice.
My Mom's Baked Beans
Baked beans go with any BBQ event. These baked beans are slow cooked in the oven and are sweet with a hint of bacon.
Potato Gratin with Rosemary Crust
This gratin is awesome with prime rib or beef tenderloin. Layers of thinly sliced potatoes and Gruyere cheese are smothered in a garlic cream sauce and baked in s spring form pan with a rosemary infused crust. It is a beautiful side dish at holidays.
Brisket Baked Beans
This is not the typical baked beans. They are loaded with LOTS of brisket, and laced with sweet, salty and smoky flavors. These beans are everything you crave in a side dish.
Toum Garlic Sauce
Toum sauce is a popular condiment in Lebanese restaurants. Serve it with chicken. Only four ingredients: 1 cup of garlic, oil, salt, and lemon juice. Great with chicken skewers or a chicken shawarma salad.
Twice Baked Potatoes
The great thing about twice baked potatoes is, precise measurements really are not necessary. You just scrape out a baked potato half, add yummy stuff, mix it together, and refill the potato shell. Add cheese on top and bake again!
